Who is Mr Fernando?
Mr Fernando's real name is Hettiakandage Anthony Darshana Fernando, but parents you can call me Anthony, students you can call me Mr Fernando. I am a fourth year Education student studying at QUT, I have always wanted to do teaching since Grade 10 as I had some inspiring teachers and I wanted a job where I could give back to people. I have taught previously at Grand Avenue State School (Year 7), twice at St Joseph's - North Ipswich (Grade 2 and Grade 4) and now Moorooka State School (Year 3/4).
I currently work at Good News Lutheran Outside School Hours Care, I work for Major Stadiums Facilities Authority at the Gabba, so I work at all the cricket and AFL games as an usher. I also work for QUT as a Student Ambassador where I represent Education at major events around Queensland. I enjoy sports (hence working at the Gabba), singing and all things technology.
